We will review all the storyboards on Tuesday after animation class.

Next Friday, Dan, David, Jenelle, and myself will review all the character builds.

We should be ready to start the leica reel on February 9, finishing it on February 16.

Animation References & Friday Meeting

Hey guys,

Here's some good animation reference for those of you who are doing walk cycles with four-legged characters. The clips are from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. If you feel you need more, this show is full of great examples.

Storyboard artists can also take a look at how these characters use their front hooves to gesture when speaking. There's some good acting in there. Remember, even though they stand on four legs, they still use their bodies to show emotion.

Reminder

This is a reminder to everyone that the rough layouts and the builds of all characters are due this Thursday. The characters need to be completely built and ready to animate, with all the rotations provided on the character design sheets and mouth shapes. After Barney's class, we will begin work on audio recording, leica reels, and the final layouts.
